Is synthetic diamond ethical compared to mine diamond ?

Natural diamond industries have often been criticized for the socio-economic and environmental impact of large-scale mining. The practices of the diamond mining industry are more and more ethical, responsible and transparent: they follow ecological standards, reduce their impact on the environment, working conditions and remuneration improve and the traceability of diamonds becomes the standard (cf. Kimberley Process).
But even mined in a state of the art (especially in Canada), diamond mines are still perceived as an ecological "nightmare".
In this sense, the synthetic diamond produced in the laboratory by qualified personnel and with perfect traceability, is considered and perceived today more responsible.
